US silver jumps 6 pct after dollar hits three-year low
SINGAPORE, April 28 |
(Reuters) - The most active U.S. silver futures contract SIcv1 rallied as much as 6 percent, to $48.75 an ounce on Thursday, after the dollar declined to its three-year trough against a basket of currencies.
The contract was trading at $48.41 by 0055 GMT, and spot silver at $48.28, up 1 percent. (Reporting by Rujun Shen; Editing by Clarence Fernandez)
