Before investing any company, Warren Buffett would first look at the business. How does the business generate cashflow? What is the economic moat? How long can it sustain? Besides looking at the intangible aspects, it is equally crucial to look at their three financial statements. While a lot of people tend to simply look at the P&L statements alone, you must also look at their Balance Sheet as well as their Cashflow Statement.
