Soviet Files: The Sakharov Paradox

The famous Russian scientist Andrey Sakharov created the first hydrogen bomb and received many top awards. But he was also the most widely-known Soviet dissident, constantly hounded by the KGB and oppressed by the party's leadership. On May 21st, Russia marks the 90th anniversary of Andrey Sakharov's birth.
